Sometimes you're reminded of her work on A Midsommar Nightmare because the two films share some elements in their cult overtones and the fact that they're both horror stories that take place in broad daylight. Styles goes to great lengths to antagonize Pugh but in a way it makes perfect sense that his character lacks the charisma to equal her on screen. You start to feel uncomfortable with Jack when he advises Alice to stop hysterically pleading with her to get a hold of herself. And it's only going to get worse. a cautionary tale about toxic masculinity and unhealthy relationships. It encourages viewers to open their eyes and analyze everything they take for granted.
